Opened by HRH the Princess Royal in June 2012, Nine, the BioQuarter has rapidly established itself as the centre for commercial activity at BioQuarter. This three-story multiple occupancy building is now home to more than 15 companies involved in life sciences from start-ups and support services to major international businesses. The building also houses the Farr Institute (mining population based ‘Big Data’ sets for healthcare research) and other organisations focused on data science. Meeting rooms, an AV suite, a cafe, offices and wet laboratory facilities are all available within the building.
Plans are already in development to provide additional commercial buildings on site.
